Medical Fitness
Persons with a medical history must bring written proof of approval to dive by their doctor, to course enrolment / boat diving registration. Medical forms for your doctor are available for download - see below. Download the Medical Statement. Follow the instructions and complete the Medical Statement (with the help of your parents/guardian where applicable) - If you can answer 'YES' to any question, print off the Medical Statement, complete it (each question must be answered with 'NO' or 'YES' as per instructions) and take it along to your doctor to obtain Medical Approval to Scuba Dive. If you require Medical Approval to Scuba Dive, you will be asked to submit your approval (signed by your doctor) to the dive center at boat diving or course registration.

Training Courses

For PADI Divemaster courses a Medical form with written approval from your doctor, signed within the last 12 months, must be submitted at course commencement. Failure to produce a completed Medical form, where required, will preclude you starting your course. LOOE DIVERS will not be held liable for any loss or expense incurred by the student.

Unless otherwise stated, a minimum number of four candidates are required to run a course. If the minimum course number is not reached and the course is cancelled, LOOE DIVERS will not be held liable for any loss or expense incurred by the individual candidates. (Those individual candidates may transfer their deposits to another scheduled course date).

In the interest of safety, if the prevailing weather conditions cause the completion of a course to be altered to alternative dates, LOOE DIVERS will not be held liable for any loss or expense incurred by the student.

All the PADI courses are performance based, not time based, however if a student fails to meet all of the course performance requirements in the allotted course schedule, then the student will be counselled on an appropriate course of action and associated costs.

Yes you can! If you wish to spend over £1000, then please contact dive centre with the details of your order, for latest info on our big order discount offers.

VAT

VAT is chargeable to all UK and EU addresses. All prices shown are correct at time of publication and include VAT at 15%, where applicable. Prices may change without notice.

Returns & Replacements

If you have ordered the wrong size

If a product that is purchased does not turn out to be the correct size for you then we will exchange it for the correct size provided that the product has not been used in any way and is returned to us in its original packing "as new" within 7 days of purchase. Before returning any product for an exchange, Looe Divers must first be notified and the method of return agreed. You will be responsible for carriage charges, including returning replacement items to you. An administration charge of £10 + vat will be levied.

Faulty goods

If any product that is purchased is faulty we will exchange it for an identical replacement free of charge provided that the product is returned to us in its original packaging and the fault is notified to us. Before despatch of a replacement item our technicians or manufacturer's technicians, will have to verify the fault. You will be responsible for carriage charges, including returning replacement items to you.

Returning goods

Before returning any product that is considered faulty, Looe Divers must first be notified and the method of return agreed.
Shipping & Delivery
1. We regret that we cannot process international transactions.
2. Due to limited availability of some of the products we sell, a particular item may be out of stock. This may cause your order to be sent in more than one shipment (i.e. you have requested multiple shipments), Looe Divers will contact you to advise any additional carriage charges for your order.
3. Delivery will be advised but please note that we have no control over our suppliers' stock control and delivery systems. In-stock items will generally be dispatched the same day but some out of stock products may take longer. Delivery times may vary depending on time of day when order is placed i.e. carrier may already have collected from centre and will not re-collect for a further 24 hours. Our usual days for carrier collection are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
4. Any delivery date will be an estimate only. We shall not be liable for delays caused by matters outside our control.
5. Any claim based on any defect in quality or condition of the products must be notified to us within 10 days of delivery after which you will be deemed to have accepted the products.
6. We do not offer a Saturday delivery.
7. Risk of damage to or loss of the product shall pass to you at the point at which they are delivered. Looe Divers Limited will not be held liable for any loss or damage caused to goods in transit.
8. For UK couriered consignments we reserve the right to make an additional charge for redirection to address other then the delivery address specified in your order. You must supply a correct daytime delivery address and daytime contact/mobile number at time of check out.
9. Delivery Charges:
Our carrier of choice is ParcelForce. We offer discounted carrier charges to our customers, as set out below for the different zones. To view the standard ParcelForce tarif, please visit www.parcelforce.com.
For orders < 10 KG only:
1. 48 hour delivery (England, Wales and Lowland Scotland only - Zone 1)
If your order total is less than £100 then your carriage will be £9.50
If order total is more than £100 then your carriage will be £10.50
2. 48 hour/3 day delivery (Highland & Islands of Scotland - Zone 2) then your carriage will be £22.00
3. 48 hour/3 day delivery (Northern Ireland, Isle of Man & Isles of Scilly -Zone 3) then your carriage will be £29.95
4. If your order is more than £300, and your delivery address is in ParcelForce Zone 1, then you qualify for FREE SHIPPING

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will contact you and advise of delivery timescales.

This document is intended to explain how we use the information supplied by you. All information that we collect about you will be used lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. When you place an order with us we will need to know your name, address and other such information including e-mail address and telephone numbers. We store this information for the purposes of providing you with the very best possible service. The relevant information may be used by us as a method to support our relationship with you. This includes communicating with you on matters concerning new products, special offers and any other service related matters.
