SCUBA DIVE KANTEONG
Kanteong, was the worlds largest Tin dredger.
She was on tow from the builders yard in Holland, bound for the Far East.
She capsized in a storm off the Eddystone. She was abandoned and drifted
down the coast to Fowey, South East Cornwall, where she sank on 8th March 1937 in 14 metres.
The pontoon was later refloated and towed to Par. Today there is an
abundance of marine life on the wreck. Kanteong makes an excellent second
dive and is a good site for photography and penetration!
